Commercial and industrial energy consumers can generate their own clean and reliable power on-site. This trend to small, independent and economical combined heat and power (CHP) turbines provides greater control over power and heat supply.
The Flex 250 kW Turbine™ reduces expensive utility-grid power consumption by providing electricity for baseload requirements, plus recovered heat to offset the energy needed for thermal loads. Turbine heat can reduce or replace the fuel needed by a domestic hot water boiler, heat the water provided by a furnace or fire an absorption chiller.
The turbine exhaust heat can also be used directly to regenerate the desiccant wheel of a dehumidifier or in hot air drying applications.
