Turbines turn waste gases into useful power

The FlexEnergy  250 kW Turbine™ can use renewable “waste” fuels with a wide range of energy content, including landfill gases, digester gases and even gases that include significant hydrogen content.

Landfills continue to face increasingly tough waste gas venting regulations. The same collection system that flares and wastes landfill gas can fuel a turbine that generates renewable energy and dramatically reduces greenhouse emissions.

Biogas produced by digesters for wastewater treatment plants, food waste processes or agricultural waste digestion makes an excellent fuel for the 250 kW Turbine™.

The turbine produces both electricity and hot water to warm the digester for optimum operation.

The FlexEnergy Inc turbine complies with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) 2008 limits for distributed generation using landfill or digester gas fuels.
