The Flex Turbine® is a long life energy generation system with one (1) planned maintenance per year. Depending on the distributed generation project’s economics, known equipment all-in service costs may be required to reduce project financial risks. Flex Care® service contracts are available to cover planned and unplanned maintenance for 5 years and up to 10 years.
The Flex Care® service contract can be set up to cover “parts only” or full service “parts and labor”, so the Flex Turbine® performance and availability meet the project expectations. Flex Leasing Power and Service provides all planned and unplanned maintenance as part of its Flex Turbine® lease agreements.
Specialty Turbine Configurations
Flex configurations can be engineered and manufactured to agreed upon specifications.
One specialty configuration recently completed is the externally fired or Flex Turbine® EX version. The combustor and fuel system are removed so that the Flex Turbine® can be powered by an external heat source. Other versions can be engineered and manufactured to agreed-upon specifications.
The Flex Turbine® is built with modular main components of a core engine, recuperator, combustor, gearbox, generator, fuel system and enclosure. This modular design philosophy allows special and custom Flex Turbine® configurations to be built. Individual main components can be modified or designed out of the custom Flex Turbine® configuration.

Flex Turbine® maintenance service training is available to teach clients the tips and techniques to properly maintain their equipment so highest economic returns are met.
This training is available to clients, partners and distributors since the proper operation, inspection and servicing of the equipment is critical to achieving the high uptime performance needed in most projects.
